二、研究领域

在深海生物基因资源调查、海洋微生物系统进化、深海微生物多样性与环境作用，以及微生物资源开发利用等多个方面开展了大量研究。创建了中国海洋微生物菌种保藏管理中心（www.mccc.org.cn），参与建立了国家微生物资源共享服务平台。

三、目前承担的课题：

作为负责人承担的在研重大项目：十三五科技部重点研究计划项目1项；国家自然基金委“水圈”重大计划重点项目1项；“蛟龙探海”工程深海生物资源计划首席科学家兼课题负责人1项；国家自然科技资源平台计划海洋微生物资源平台1项；国际家自然基金委面上项目1项；海洋区域示范项目2项等。

五、论文、专利等成果：

发表论文245篇，其中以第一作者或通讯作者发表SCI论文146篇，H-index 35；授权国家发明专利21项、美国发明专利1项；主编或副主编学术专著4部。

获海洋工程技术奖一等奖励2项（第一名、第五名）、海洋科技创新成果奖一等奖、二等奖各1项（第一名）。细菌烷烃代谢网络的研究成果入选2014年度中国海洋十大科技进展。深海微生物资源采集与菌种资源库建设入选2017年中国重大工程进展（十项）。
